
Charles A. Kovas joined Warren Allen in April 2010. He received his B.S. in Human & Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University, in Nashville, Tennessee, and his J.D. from the Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. He is admitted to practice in Oregon state courts and in the federal district court for Oregon. Prior to joining the firm he was a judicial clerk for Clackamas County Circuit Court Judges Robert R. Selander and Katherine E. Weber. During law school he gained trial experience working for Multnomah Defenders, Inc, in Portland.
Before law school Mr. Kovas lived in Washington, DC. His experience includes working for the United States Committee on Government Affairs - Special Investigation, raising money for numerous political campaigns, and working under retired Congressman Lee H. Hamilton at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Development.
Mr. Kovas currently lives in Southwest Portland with his wife and two children. He is an avid skier and organic gardener. His enjoys traveling, history, religion, politics and pre-Columbian archaeology.
